How is it possible that all your money goes directly to Jigmet's health care? Very simple! There are no administration costs, costs for fundraising and publicity or other expenses to manage this charity. Any costs other than Jigmet’s health care are covered by me. This is how I contribute; by investing time in fundraising, communicating with sponsors and covering additional expenses such as the costs for international money transfers. 

 

The cost for treatment are build up as follows:

1 physiotherapy session costs 750 Indian Rupees. 250 INR are spent on therapy and 500 INR for transport from his village to the clinic and back home. During the summer of 2014, the costs for transport went up, as it was a busy summer season. Taxi drivers could earn a lot of money by driving tourists and a new price had to be negotiated. The driver has to pick Jigmet up from home or school, bring him to the clinic and wait till the end of the treatment to bring Jigmet back home safely.
